Abstract
A simplified method of reduction and fixation of fractures of the maxilla and other facial bones has been described. For the approach, two small incisions are used at the outer or inferior orbital ridge, on one or two sides depending upon whether the involvement is unilateral or bilateral. The procedure requires a minimum amount of time and equipment, a small drill, pair of pliers, spool of small stainless steel wire, and a dissecting set. © 1943.
