Abstract
The applicability of the method described by Lansbury for therapeutic trials was studied in a small group of patients who received amodiaquin as a testing agent. By the multiple criteria applied, minor but measurable improvement resulted from the administration of this particular agent. This report gives strong additional support to the validity and desirability of systematic therapeutic evaluation. Severe toxicity of the drug apparently limits its value.
