Abstract
A survey is given of the micro determination of three major lipide classes: cholesterol, triglycerides, and phospholipides. The merits of a popular direct method for serum cholesterol and a system for rapid chromatographic separation of esterified cholesterol from other lipides have been discussed. © 1959 The American Oil Chemists' Society.
